Medicaid LTC Eligibility Requirements

• Medical Necessity – needing 24-hour care in a facility setting and help with at least two Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s)
• Income not more than $2,250.00
  • If income is higher than $2,250.00 but under the monthly facility cost a “Miller’s Trust” may be needed.
• Asset limit of $2,000.00 for a single person or $3,000.00 for a couple (husband & wife both IN facility)
